The history of the buddhist temple
Hello everyone today I will be writing a report about the Buddhist Temple since I’ve been there for s school Trips without further ado let’s get started also one last thing we will be talking about the past history and the temple is called Fo Guang Shan :)

The temple history was based years ago and one amazing fact was that they are all vegetarian which means they don’t eat meat.
When you enter the temple you have to wear certains clothing because it will disrespect their religion and it just shows that if you wear the wrong thing you're disrespecting
Them. You also have to be grateful for the food you get provided with and the water you get because in their religion it is a very special type of dish made from their god down to them so that they can show their special yum dish. A few activities that they have there are learning how to write in chinese and how to water the buddha and showing us a video about the indian prince.
Another great thing is that they have their own vows and they share it with us to give people joy to show honesty and respect to show what you promise + to give people good words and to do good deeds.
In their religion they wake up at 6:00 to think and have time to care for what they have and to expect the fact that they are lucky in terms that they are loved each and every day.
In most temples they have different references on what you can wear,do and try it all is based on their religion and has all different types of vows to share with us also different temples have different food and different ways of saying and doing things because that's just what they do everyday but compared to some temples they might have the same content as the other temple you went to but if you think it is really different then you should stat knowing why?
Also their grass grows for 7 years.

After a deptrue of 10 long years on 15th may 2021 they have manufactured an embroidery Exhibition by Artist Yao Hong ying will finally return to Fo guang Yuan Art Gallery Christchurch.
